High precision SM20-34L-T brass slider M3 lead screw linear stepper motor
Description:
This is 15mm diameter PM stepper motor attached with a brass slider.
There are two linear bearings on motor’s slider, and they provide strong support to the slider, and make sure slider moving fluently.
Motor’s slider is made from CNC machine work, so the cost is much higher than plastic sliders.
(Plastic POM sliders are made from injection mold)
Customers can choose plastic sliders if you want to save cost.
Lead screw is regular M3*P0.5 screw, and the lead screw length is adjustable.
Motor’s stroke/travel distance is determined by lead screw length.

About linear stepper motor with slider:
Our slider motor is a full set of assembly including motor + lead screw + bracket + slider.
Motor’s step angle is generally 18°/step, which means 20 steps for each turn.
When motor rotates one turn, slider moves one lead.
For single start lead screws: pitch =lead.
So the step length is (step length means linear movement slider travels, when the stepper motor take exactly one step):
Lead screw lead/steps of each rotation
For example if lead screw is M2*0.4P (0.4mm pitch regular M2 lead screw), step angle of the motor is 18°, step length of this motor is 0.4mm/20=0.02mm/step.
Also, lead screw length is customizable, and we also need to adjust bracket’s design, if you customize lead screw length.
